Shrimp and Pasta
Ingredients
- Shrimp in the shells, tail on (large)
- olive oil
- strata (if you want)
- 1/2 cup or more of white wine
- Pipette noodles (Hy Vee)
- carrots
- celery
Instructions
- Clean shrimp, detain, and save shells BROTH Place empty shells, celery and carrots in a pan, add 4-6 cups water and simmer for 45 minutes. Save the broth but discard the shells, carrots and celery. PASTA AND SHRIMP Cook pasta according to box directions, drain. Add pasta to broth and add shrimp. Shrimp will turn pink in a few minutes. Serve with parmesan cheese.
