When kids were home I made this quite often
Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 package of devil food cake mix
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup veg. oil
- 1 (3.5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- FROSTING
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12 oz. container of cool whip
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 4 Smors chopped and frozen
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. combine dry cake mix, milk, eggs, oil and pudding mix. Beat on low until blended..Scrape bowl and beat 4 minutes on med speed. Pour into pan. Bake in preheated oven 2-=0-25 minutes. I bake it for 30 minutes
- Frosting. Beat cream cheese with white sugar and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in cool whip, chopped nuts and Smors. Refrigerate.
