One of Jame’s favorites.

Ta To, Chocolate Italian Cookie
Ingredients
- 7 cups flour
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup crisco
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 cup nuts (chopped fine)
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon and cocoa in bowl. In another bowl put eggs, vanilla, and milk. Blend in crisco with electric mixer. Add flour mixture to the second bowl a little at a time and mix with a spoon, If mixture is a little too dry add more milk. Add nuts and stir. Drop by rounded spoon fulls onto sprayed cookie sheet. 375 degrees 12-15 minutes Makes 5-6 dozen
