
Orange Salad
Ingredients
- 6 oranghes
- light olive oil or light flavored oil oif your choice
- black pepper
- 1/2 of sliced sweet onion
Instructions
- Slice the p[eel from the oranges. Be sure to cut away the white peel and outer layer of membrane. Don't worry about cutting away the membrane in between each orange section :fiber Slice oranges into 1/2-3/4 inch thickness into a large glass bowl. pour over olive oil and stir to separate the orange slices into sections. Ensure all is lightly coated with the oil. Add black pepper to taste. Let the salad sit at room temperature so the juices from the orange will seep into the oil. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate and serve later
