
Aunt Helen’s Italian Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp parsley
- 1/4 tsp garlic
- 1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 4 slices bread, ground finely with food processor
Instructions
- Turn oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix all ingredients together. Roll into balls. Place on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes. Wipe off any excess grease before placing meatballs into sauce. Place cooked balls into sauce while sauce is being prepared. Any extra meatballs place in a freezer bag for future use. We generally make 5 lbs. at a time, and meatballs are usually 2 inches in diameter. Do not worry about pan placement as these will not expand
